“The Fine Print Show” – Jan 4 – Feb 1
Printmaking has played a key role in the fine arts for centuries. In this exhibition, we will display several examples of various print making techniques including etchings, lithographs, silkscreens, block prints and mono-types. We will also display some of the tools, plates and screens used to make these works helping the viewer connect the process with the print. This exhibition features work by Marcia Miele Branca, David French, Caroline Northrop, and Robert O’Connor.
“What is a fine print? It is a multiple-original work or art on paper which comes into direct contact with a stone, plate, wood block or silk screen that was worked upon by the artist.” – Jules Heller, Printmaking Today
Please join us Friday, January 10th 6-8pm for an artists reception.
